Description

The CP Plus CP-UNC-TE21ZL6C-VMDS-Q is a 2 MP motorised bullet network camera from the Q series, with infrared illumination reaching 60 metres. It streams full HD over a single Ethernet cable, taking its power from the same cable through PoE, and records to any ONVIF recorder — CP Plus or otherwise.

Where it suits

Sites where the field of view has to be set after the bracket is fixed — a 2.7–13.5 mm motorised lens is adjusted from the app instead of from a ladder.

Picture

True 120 dB wide dynamic range holds detail at both ends of a difficult scene at once — a doorway with bright daylight behind it stops being a silhouette. Starlight sensitivity means the camera stays in colour well past the point where an ordinary camera has given up and gone monochrome.

Analytics on the camera

Tripwire, intrusion and the rest run on the camera itself, so an event raises an alarm rather than waiting for somebody to notice it on a monitor later. That is the difference between footage you review after the fact and a system that tells you something is happening.

Installation and support

Powered over Ethernet on one cable, ONVIF profile S / G / T so it works with recorders you already own, and certified to BIS and STQC for Indian projects and tenders. Supplied, installed and configured by iActive Solutions in Hyderabad with the manufacturer's warranty.
