Weak signal in the far cabin, calls dropping when someone walks between floors, guests asking for the password every visit — most office Wi-Fi problems come from access points placed by guesswork. iActive Solutions designs and installs business Wi-Fi across Hyderabad and Secunderabad that is planned from a site survey, built on business-grade access points and handed over with a coverage map.
We install Wi-Fi for offices, clinics and hospitals, schools, hotels, showrooms, warehouses and factories, and for larger homes and apartments. One team does the survey, the cabling to each access point, the configuration and the support afterwards, so there is one number to call when something needs changing.
Wi-Fi rides on the wired network, so the two are planned together. For the cabling to each access point, see LAN & structured cabling in Hyderabad; for the switches and routers behind it, see router, switch & firewall installation; for the whole range, see computer networking services in Hyderabad.

A good business Wi-Fi network is more than strong signal. It needs enough capacity for everyone connected at once, separate networks for staff, guests and devices, secure login, and access points that hand a moving laptop or phone from one to the next without dropping the call. We plan for all of these from the start rather than adding access points later when complaints come in.
Every computer Wi-Fi installation we do starts with a site survey. An engineer walks the premises and notes:
From that we mark where each access point goes, which band and channel it uses and how it is powered — usually over the network cable from a PoE switch, so no socket is needed at the ceiling. Access points are placed for capacity as well as coverage: a busy conference room or classroom may need its own, even if a nearby one can reach it.
There are two main ways to build a multi-access-point network, and the right one depends on the building.
Wireless mesh links access points to each other over the air, so only one needs a cable. It suits places where cabling is hard or not allowed — rented offices with finished ceilings, heritage buildings, outdoor areas, homes. The trade-off is speed: each wireless hop shares airtime, so mesh is best kept to a small number of hops. Our wireless mesh networking services in Hyderabad cover mesh design and placement to keep hops short.
Controller-based (or cloud-managed) Wi-Fi cables every access point back to the switch and manages them all from one controller or dashboard. It gives the most speed, the best roaming and central control over users, guests and firmware. This is our default for offices, hospitals, schools and hotels.
Many sites use both: cabled access points indoors, with a mesh link to reach a gate, parking area or separate block.
Giving visitors the staff password is the most common Wi-Fi security gap we find. As Wi-Fi authentication solution providers in Hyderabad, we set up a separate guest network, isolated from your staff network, with a login method that suits the site:
As Wi-Fi hotspot solution providers in Hyderabad, we also build public hotspots for hotels, cafés, hospitals, hostels and campuses, with voucher billing or free timed access.
Roaming is what lets a laptop, phone or handheld scanner move between access points without dropping the connection. In an office, poor roaming shows up as Wi-Fi calls cutting out between rooms; in a warehouse it shows up as scanners losing their session between aisles. We configure fast roaming across the access points, set transmit power so neighbouring access points overlap without shouting over each other, and test by walking the site on a live call before handover. Warehouses with tall metal racking get access points placed along the aisles rather than on the walls.
We install business Wi-Fi from Cisco Meraki (cloud-managed), Aruba (Instant and controller-based), Ruckus for high-density sites such as halls, hostels and hotels, Netgear business access points, and Ubiquiti UniFi and TP-Link where the budget is tighter. Current access points support Wi-Fi 6 for more devices at once. We recommend a brand based on the number of users, the building and how you want to manage it — not on what is in stock — and we supply genuine, warranty-backed hardware.
The cost of a Wi-Fi installation depends on:
After the free survey you get an itemised quote with each access point, the switch, cabling, licences and labour on separate lines.
A single-floor office with a few access points is usually installed and tested in one working day once the cabling is in place. Multi-floor buildings, hospitals and campuses are done floor by floor, and we work after hours where staff are on site.
Wi-Fi needs occasional attention: firmware updates, new users, a changed office layout or an extra access point. Our computer networking AMC in Hyderabad covers access points along with the rest of the network, with remote support, scheduled health checks and a 4-hour on-site response target.
Walk-through of the premises with an access-point layout and coverage plan before any work.
Ceiling or wall mounting, cabling and PoE power, configured and tested in every area.
Wireless links where cable cannot go — gates, parking, separate blocks.
Isolated guest network with OTP, voucher or social login and bandwidth limits.
Calls and scanners stay connected moving between rooms, floors and aisles.
Firmware, user changes, health checks and a 4-hour on-site response target.
It depends on floor area, walls and how many people and devices connect at once. As a rough guide, an open office floor often needs one access point per 1,500–2,500 sq ft, and busy rooms such as conference rooms or classrooms may need their own. We confirm the number from a site survey before quoting.
Mesh is useful where cable cannot reach, but each wireless hop shares speed. For most offices we recommend cabled access points with central management, and use mesh only for spots such as a gate, parking area or separate block.
Yes. We set up a guest network isolated from your staff network, with a captive portal that uses mobile OTP, voucher codes or social login, plus per-user speed and time limits.
Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus, Netgear, Ubiquiti UniFi and TP-Link. We recommend one based on your users, building and budget.
Yes. We survey the existing setup, find the dead spots and interference, and fix placement, channels and settings — often without replacing much hardware. We can then take it under AMC.
Yes. We install whole-home Wi-Fi for larger houses, villas and apartments, usually with a small mesh or cabled access-point setup so every room has good signal.
