Description

The CP Plus CP-UVC-VB24FL3-B is a 2.4 MP analog HD camera. It runs on ordinary coaxial cable, which is the point: an older analog system can be brought up to 2.4 MP by changing the cameras and the recorder, without pulling a single new cable through the building.

Public-facing positions on an analog system — entrances, lobbies, anywhere within arm’s reach.

After dark

Infrared illumination with smart IR, which eases the LEDs back when a subject comes close so the face does not white out. Starlight sensitivity keeps the camera in colour well past the point where an ordinary one has gone monochrome. The varifocal lens is set on site, so the view is framed to the scene rather than to whatever the fixed lens happened to give.

Installation and support

Four signals travel over the one coaxial cable — video, audio, data and control — and the on-screen menu is driven from the recorder, so nothing needs a second run of cable. Supplied, installed and configured by iActive Solutions in Hyderabad with the manufacturer's warranty.
