Description

The CP Plus CP-UVR-0801E1-IC2 records 8 analog cameras and IP cameras on the same box. Every BNC input detects HDCVI, AHD, TVI or CVBS on its own, so cameras of different makes and vintages on an existing cable run all come up without anything being configured per channel.

Where it suits

Eight cameras where searching recorded footage for a person or a vehicle matters more than raw resolution.

Alarms worth answering

Smart motion detection filters what moved: a person or a vehicle raises an alarm, a swaying branch or a passing cat does not. On a site that used to generate a hundred useless alerts a night, that is the difference between a system people watch and one they mute.

Storage and upgrade path

1 hard-disk bay, with the disk supplied separately so the storage matches how long you actually need to keep footage. Analog channels can be given up for IP channels as the site is modernised, so the recorder does not have to be replaced the first time a network camera is added.

Installation and support

Viewable on the iCMOB and gCMOB mobile apps and on KVMS Pro. Supplied, installed and configured by iActive Solutions in Hyderabad, with the manufacturer's warranty and the hard disk specified to your requirement.
