Description

The CP Plus CP-UVR-1601L1B-4KI3 records 16 analog cameras and IP cameras on the same box. Every BNC input detects HDCVI, AHD, TVI or CVBS on its own, so cameras of different makes and vintages on an existing cable run all come up without anything being configured per channel.

Where it suits

Sixteen cameras where a good deal of the analytics should run on the recorder — eight channels of perimeter protection and two of face recognition.

Alarms worth answering

Smart motion detection filters what moved: a person or a vehicle raises an alarm, a swaying branch or a passing cat does not. On a site that used to generate a hundred useless alerts a night, that is the difference between a system people watch and one they mute.

Face recognition on the recorder

Face detection and recognition run on the recorder itself, so ordinary cameras gain the capability without being replaced. Searching a week of footage for one face takes seconds rather than an afternoon of scrubbing.

Storage and upgrade path

1 hard-disk bay, with the disk supplied separately so the storage matches how long you actually need to keep footage. Analog channels can be given up for IP channels as the site is modernised, so the recorder does not have to be replaced the first time a network camera is added.

Installation and support

Viewable on the iCMOB and gCMOB mobile apps and on KVMS Pro. Supplied, installed and configured by iActive Solutions in Hyderabad, with the manufacturer's warranty and the hard disk specified to your requirement.
