Description

The Matrix SATATYA MIDR50FL60CWP P2 is a 5 MP professional-series IR dome camera built around a 1/2.8" SONY STARVIS CMOS sensor with a 6.0 mm fixed lens. It sees in complete darkness up to 30 metres on infrared, and holds detail in difficult mixed light through True WDR and 3D noise reduction.

Analytics run on the camera itself — trip wire, intrusion detection and motion detection — so an event raises an alarm rather than waiting for someone to notice it on a monitor. Quad streaming feeds a recorder, a mobile app and a remote viewer at different bit rates at the same time, and the built-in microphone records audio alongside the video. Footage can be written to a micro SD card of up to 512 GB or to network storage, which keeps recording if the link to the NVR drops.

Where it suits

The dome housing sits flush against a ceiling or soffit and is hard to knock out of alignment, which makes it the usual choice for receptions, corridors, shop floors and offices. A 6.0 mm lens gives a narrower, longer view for corridors and aisles where reach matters more than width.

Installation

Powered over Ethernet on a single cable, rated IP67 for outdoor use and IK10 against impact. NDAA compliant for projects where that is a tender requirement. Supplied, installed and configured by iActive Solutions in Hyderabad with the manufacturer's warranty.
